Newest Fashion Accessory?

A photo in the June 7th issue of the New York Post shows Lindsey Lohan wearing what I truly hope is not the newest fashion craze. A $700.00 pink Chanel leather 'glovelet’ looks like something from the 1980's Michael Jackson days. Apparently these things will not hit stores until the fall season but are already demanding a large amount of pre-sales activities. Being from the Midwest, I know our region is not on the cutting edge of fashion, but please tell me this is not a trend that will linger for long!
